What?
A concert series funded by the German federal government as part of the Science Year (Wissenschaftsjahr), exploring the connection between music and neuroscience.
My role
Together with my brother Samuel, we are arranging the concert program for the large project orchestra, multiple choirs and various featured guests. The program spans works of classical, popular and film music. My responsibilities include all the popular pieces as well as parts of the film music.
As a special hallmark of this program, we conceived and arranged a 15-minute medley spanning a wide range of musical eras and facets.
The following concerts are planned as part of this series:
- July 10 — Cologne Philharmonie (with Bläck Fööss and members of the Gürzenich Orchestra)
- October 18 — Telekom Forum, Bonn
- November 4 — Berlin Philharmonie
- November 8 — Bergson Kunstkraftwerk, Munich
- November 19 — Konzerthaus Dortmund
- December 11 — Beethoven-Halle, Bonn
